As a lifelong athlete, Sarah struggled to find an exercise routine that stuck after beginning her career as an attorney and then staying at home to raise her children. It wasn’t until 2014 when she tried group fitness classes at Sportsplex that she was immediately hooked; everything about the experience made her want to keep coming back! 


It was in one of those group exercise classes that the instructor mentioned the club’s ongoing need for trainers. A few pep talks later and Sarah was on her way to receiving her NASM certification. She is now studying to receive her certification as a Women’s Fitness Specialist, which will enable her to guide women through all of the ups and downs of life, whether it be adolescence, pregnancy, or pre- and post-menopause. 


Her favorite thing to say to her kids (and she’s sure they love it, too) is: You can do hard things. Choose your hard! 


Fitness can be hard but no matter where you are in your fitness journey, Sarah is here to help you achieve your goals. See you at the club!

Q: What were your workouts like before working with Sarah?

A: Before working with Sarah, my workouts were sporadic.  I would attempt to do some weight work and I would never complete my sets. I need to be accountable to someone.

A: I'd recommend training with Sarah because her encouragement, guidance and knowledge will help you reach your goals. She encourages me to keep going beyond what my brain tells me I can't do, and at the same time, knows my limitations. As I progress, she's always adding moves to challenge me a little more.
