Jessica Staub

Jessica started playing tennis at age 4. Growing up, she was first singles at New Paltz while training in the world–class program right here at Sportsplex, traveled for USTA tournaments, and was ranked 9th in the Southeastern Region of NYS under 16. She made it to Section 9 in the top 4 of her MHAL. She graduated from Ithaca College with a Bachelor's degree in Integrated Marketing Communications, Management, and Design. As a new coach, Jessica leads with a “beginner's mind” and passionate heart, intending to make a genuine difference in the lives of others. She believes that no matter how many times you lose or get knocked down, you should never give up and are capable of starting again. She emphasizes the importance of empowering her students' unique strengths and styles of play, which allows each player, regardless of age, to find their own rhythm and pace of hitting, learning, and being true to their game. Setting a solid foundation for who they are and want to be on and off the court.
