Personal Trainer
Fitness called to April quickly after having her first son, in 2000, and home workouts
were the beginning of the journey. She hired a personal trainer of her own in 2001 and
learned what it takes to lose baby-weight, build a rock-solid core, and gain muscle tone.
Initially, she worked the front desk, while taking notes from experienced trainers and
studying to become one herself.
April has been a Certified Personal Trainer since 2011 and has worked with clients of
all backgrounds, from athletes of all ages, older adults, new moms, special needs, and
post physical therapy after injury, and surgery, including cardiac. Versatility as a trainer
is an absolute must!
Her training style is equally supportive and challenging. She meets clients where they are
then push them to discover what they’re truly capable of. Whether your goal is weight
loss, muscle gain, core-strength, balance, flexibility, or overall health and accountability,
she’ll help you get there while making fitness something you enjoy and look forward to!
April trained me for my first Spartan race and I couldn't have done it without her! She pushed me in the best way, kept me motivated, and made training something I looked forward to.
