Session Types
New Member Integration Sessions
Each Sportsplex new member is entitled to receive 3 sessions with one of our personal trainers. These sessions are designed to acclimate new members with the facility and suggest specific types of exercises best suited to the individual.
New Member Session #1: This complimentary orientation session introduces a new member to Sportsplex by conducting a health history review, discussion of exercise and fitness goals, and demonstrates the proper operation of our cardiovascular equipment (which includes a wide variety of treadmills, bikes, steppers, ellipticals, and rowers). Calculation of body fat and target heart rate may also be performed at this time.
New Member Session #2: Also a complimentary session, this second meeting with a trainer aims to familiarize a new member to the strength training room, with special focus on the Techno-gym strength training circuit. Proper form and equipment settings are demonstrated and stretching and core exercises may also be reviewed.
New Member Session #3: This third complimentary new member session is intended to prepare new members to begin full use of the fitness facility. The member will be shown the correct use of our Free-Motion stations, Hammer Strength line and free weights. If indicated, the trainer may opt to design one of their signature workouts to introduce the benefits of personal training.

Can you benefit from working with a private trainer? The best way to find out is with a free consultation. We’ll review your current fitness plan, and assess what’s working and what’s not. You’ll have a chance to ask questions and revamp your workout to improve your fitness results..
One-on-One Personal Training
The added motivation and expertise our trainers provide with personal training can bring your workouts to a new whole new level. One of our nationally certified personal training staff will lead you to fitness success by designing a dynamic program with your individual needs in mind. Sessions are 30 or 60 minutes in duration. We feature a variety of trainers, each with special talents and areas of specialization. Training sessions are typically purchased in packages of 3 or 6 sessions although we do offer single sessions.
