Member Orientation

At Sportsplex you start laying the foundation
for great results from the very first day.

Our two-part orientation process ensures you maximize
desired results while training smart and efficient,
all while having fun.

Discover Fitness

The goal…let’s discover what you want. What changes are you looking to accomplish? What’s your comfort level? Overall improvements or more sports specific? We’ll also discuss the difference between short and long term goals.
And, probably the most important aspect to fitness success, what is a reasonable expectation for the amount of time you have to commit to your new fitness routine.

For members wanting more, additional
physical assessments may be performed:

  • body fat percentage
  • target heart training zone
  • BMI calculations
  • A health history review to identify any physical limitations

How to prepare:

  • This is a working session. Wear comfortable sneakers, workout clothes and bring along a towel and of course at least eight ounces of water.
  • Come with questions, goals and enthusiasm. We promise you’ll sweat a little, maybe a lot, and also crack a smile or two ☺

Discover Training

Your second appointment will give you an opportunity to learn how to correctly use our strength training equipment. In addition to learning the appropriate settings on our Techno-gym circuit,
you will be introduced on the correct usage of
our Free-Motion and cable units. Your trainer will also demonstrate proper form and technique on our Hammer strength equipment, and design an individualized fitness routine for you.
